After I finished at work I went into Shepparton to pick up odds and ends fit this weekend - in particular a whistle, a compass and a torch. Picked up a couple of disposable ponchos while I was at it - always useful to have - and a cheap inflatable pillow. Total cost the lot? About $25. On the strength of that I treated myself to some dried figs.
Not much to say after I got back to the farm. M will be here for the weekend. Not sure about F but expect she'll stay in Melbourne.
Packed my gear in the evening. Looking forward to the course
