I HAVE A NEW JOB!!!
Yep - I got a call this morning from the recruiter with an offer of a position at another defence firm in the CBD. You can guess that I accepted after thinking for, oh, a whole nanosecond. It even pays a little more than I‘m on now, so I‘ve kind of landed on my feet. I was so excited I called Joni straight away to tell her, and then my sister Jennie who‘s been such a help through all this.
Really, I‘m stoked. It‘s a huge weight off my mind and I can‘t quite believe it‘s real.
It‘s generally been a goid, if unexciting day. Evening at the office getting things teed up for the four hearings I have next week (God help me!). Earlyish bed tonight because very tired.
